Release time:2025-12-04
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, as well as a significant milestone—the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Hainan Island. To commemorate the revolutionary martyrs who made great sacrifices for the Chinese revolution and to ensure that the “red gene” is passed down from generation to generation, the “Retracing the Road to Victory in the Liberation War: China’s Southern Auto Rally—A Thousand Cars, Ten Thousand People Revisiting the Long March Route” event, jointly organized by the Guangdong Patriotic Support Military Promotion Association, the Guangdong Long March Cultural Promotion Association, and the Organizing Committee of the China Long March Auto Rally—Thousand-Car, Ten-Thousand-Person Reenactment of the Long March Route—takes an on-site, historical approach to looking back at those turbulent years and, guided by the original aspiration of spiritual inheritance, unites people in their collective efforts. The event has won widespread acclaim from all sectors of society. As a strategic partner, the national high-tech enterprise Wansongtang Health Group has provided full support throughout the entire process, demonstrating the company’s sense of responsibility and commitment.
On September 12—the anniversary of the start of the Liaoshen Campaign—the Guangdong Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association organized a group of member representatives, including retired veterans and descendants of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, to begin their journey southward. Along the way, they visited a series of significant historical memorials commemorating the three most famous campaigns of the Liberation War: the Liaoshen Campaign, the Pingjin Campaign, and the Yangtze River Crossing Campaign. The itinerary included stops at key sites such as the Tashan Ambush Battle, the Thousand-Li Leap into the Dabie Mountains, the Hengbao Campaign, the suppression of bandits in the Dayaoshan Mountains, the Crossing-the-Sea Campaign, and the liberation of Jinan, Changsha, and Guangxi. Over the course of 15 days, the group drove a total of 4,100 kilometers, passing through nine provinces before reaching Xuwens, the southernmost point of mainland China. There, they successfully joined forces with members from the Guangdong Long March Cultural Promotion Association and the Chinese Long March Auto Rally Team, who had set out from Guangzhou, in a triumphant meeting in Xuwens. Just before this year’s strongest typhoon, “Hagupit,” made landfall, the group safely crossed the Qiongzhou Strait and successfully landed on Hainan Island.
Looking back at history, countless revolutionary martyrs dedicated their lives to the cause and forged our nation’s mountains and rivers with their passionate blood, paving the way for today’s happiness. Looking ahead, Wansongtang will continue to be guided by the red spirit, deeply cultivating the greater health industry, relentlessly achieving breakthroughs in technological research and development, and steadily advancing its global expansion—thus revitalizing the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine in modern society. At the same time, we will remain committed to preserving and promoting red culture, actively participating in patriotic education and spiritual civilization building through concrete actions, ensuring that the red gene is passed down from generation to generation and that the mission of health resonates deeply with people’s hearts.
