On May 5, Wu Huapin, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Congress, together with a delegation from the Wuhan Alumni Association of Suizhou No. 1 High School, paid a visit to Wansongtang Group for inspection and guidance. Shen Xianli, Chairman of the Group, along with Deputy General Managers Guo Jianjun and Liu Bo and Office Director Leng Qian, extended a warm welcome, provided full陪同 throughout the visit, and participated in a symposium and exchange.

He highlighted the two guiding spirits that have underpinned the company’s steady and sustainable growth: the pioneering spirit embodied in “Shennong Tasting a Hundred Herbs” and the marathon-like perseverance rooted in “long-termism.” In addition, President Liu presented several corporate anthems, including “A Century of Wansongtang,” “Running Wansongtang,” and “Wansongtang’s New Quality of Productive Forces,” whose beautiful melodies and profound cultural heritage won unanimous praise from all attendees.

 

 

During the symposium, leaders highly commended Wansongtang’s 30 years of achievements and offered valuable suggestions. Qin Jiafu, President of the Wuhan Alumni Association of Suizhou No. 1 High School, used the metaphor “a train can only run fast when led by its locomotive” to underscore the excellence of Wansongtang’s leadership and management team. He emphasized the need to firmly uphold the bottom line of safe production, rigorously ensure product quality, and prioritize the cultivation of new drivers of productivity. At the same time, he recommended that the company actively explore avenues for capital development to inject sustained momentum into its growth.

 

 

In his address, Deputy Director Wu Huapin fully commended Wansongtang’s 30-year commitment to the real economy. He urged the company to seize market opportunities and leverage high-quality products to expand into overseas markets. At the same time, he highlighted six key strengths of Wansongtang—strong leadership, standardized management, superior product quality, a rich corporate culture, remarkable profitability, and innovation-driven growth—and emphasized that the past three decades represent a major turning point in the company’s development. He also offered Chairman Shen Xianli and the management team earnest advice to “conduct more inspections, engage in deeper self-reflection, pursue continuous learning, and remain ever vigilant.”

 

 

Zhang Bo, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Suizhou No. 1 Middle School, stated that Wansongtang is an outstanding enterprise in Suizhou and should be vigorously promoted and developed. Outstanding entrepreneur Zhu Dacai pointed out that “it is easy to start a business but hard to sustain it,” and urged the company to maintain a lifelong learning mindset and always uphold a modest and pragmatic work style.
