In the long river of time, four years may be just a fleeting moment, but for me, these four years at Wansongtang have been an unforgettable journey filled with challenges, opportunities, growth, and transformation. It not only witnessed my transformation from a novice in the workplace to the head of the quality department, but also showcased the touching picture of Wansongtang, a company that steadily advances and thrives in the tide of the times.
I. Entering the Workplace: Challenges and Opportunities Coexist
In the spring breeze of March 2021, when I opened the doors of Wansongtang as a traditional Chinese medicine QA, I still had a baby at home who had not been weaned. At that time, as a mother who had been away from the workplace for two years, returning to work was full of challenges. Faced with the "boundary" between the food processing workshop and drug certification materials, I gradually got into work by organizing GMP documents. Wansongtang, a company pursuing long-term development, was in a critical period of certification for traditional Chinese medicine slices. This also became a new starting point in my career.
Shortly after joining the company, Chairman Shen Xianli convened a meeting with all the post-90s employees of the company. At the meeting, everyone introduced themselves and explained their career plans in turn. I can't remember what I said at the time, but the chairman shared "The Story of a Bank Card" is still fresh in my memory. He recounted his struggle from a farmer's son with nothing to a successful entrepreneur with a large-scale enterprise. This is not only a legend, but also conveys "Success belongs to those who are prepared" belief, and also made us truly feel his earnest expectations for the younger generation.
II. Overcoming Difficulties: Adhering to the Path of Transformation
Due to strategic development, the company expanded into new pharmaceutical fields. Drug certification was a completely new field for me, so I could only learn as I went along. The process of organizing certification materials lasted for two years. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic broke out during this period. In 2022, when the epidemic was severe and express delivery was suspended, we repeatedly simulated the on-site inspection process using Excel spreadsheets and conducted self-inspections in strict accordance with the regulations on the standardized production of health food. Finally, we successfully changed the slice qualification to a health food qualification certification that better suits the company's development. When we received the production qualification certificate for health food tea, the gold-plated lettering on the cover shone brightly under the lights of the meeting room. That light was the first ray of dawn for the company's transformation into the greater health field.
III. Growth and Harvest: Nourishment from Corporate Culture
During my time at Wansongtang, I sincerely thank the company for providing a broad platform. Mr. Shen often said: "Young people should dare to express their ideas, even if they are wrong; they should dare to innovate, not blindly follow, but only pursue the truth." In this atmosphere that encourages innovation and values young people, I constantly break through myself. As the company grew and expanded, we successively obtained multiple qualifications, including hard capsules, tablets, soft capsules, and powders for health food, perfecting various fields of the health food system.
With a deeper understanding of the health food business, I also gained a further understanding of the registration system and filing system. At the end of 2023, Chairman Shen Xianli entrusted me with the important task of registration and filing. In 2024, I personally led the team to successfully register and file 33 health food products based on the existing foundation, achieving remarkable results.
IV. Mission and Responsibility: Talent Cultivation and Promotion
At the end of 2024, the company held the "Qingjin Talent Conference," with many participants being young people with ideals and goals. I was fortunate to be selected as one of the "18 Arhats." During the conference, the chairman invited brand strategy experts and senior management teachers to give lectures, and encouraged everyone to speak freely and share their ideas. Mr. Shen's vigorous and decisive style, his courage to think and act, is the driving force behind Wansongtang's vigorous development. After participating in this conference, I felt a great sense of responsibility and became even more determined to continue learning and improving myself.
Every time I listen to Chairman Shen Xianli's speeches at meetings, I gain a lot. He not only deeply analyzes the company's development situation, but also imparts the principles of life and work: In our work, we should have goals, measures, and results; in life, we should always have a grateful heart. He once asked us to Pursue the 5 great benefactors in life , and Wansongtang is undoubtedly the most important benefactor in my life. Here, abundant training and learning opportunities give me more opportunities to realize my life value.
In 2025, I was officially appointed as the group's quality manager. Mr. Shen's teaching of "doing one's job well in one's position" is always remembered in my heart. When colleagues lament the difficulties of business operations, Wansongtang's foreign trade orders have been scheduled until 2026; when young people complain about the lack of promotion opportunities, the company's post-90s employees have already taken on important roles in various departments. As Mr. Shen said at the Qingjin Conference: "A company is not a cold machine, but a group of people with flesh and blood, supporting each other to move upward for the same vision." The leader's vision and personal charm, and the company's warm and inclusive cultural environment, may be the secret to Wansongtang's long-term success, allowing every ordinary employee to shine here.
